Hello,
we usually develop 3D electrical arrangement in Oil&Gas Industry.
Our problem is that we have nig mechanical model, adn then we add on it all electrical-instrumentation details (cables, cabletrays, instruments,....). For example we usually work with model of 600-700Mb and then we start to create associated drafting; it means we can obtain 20-25 A0 sheets for all drafting, and for example we spent a lot ot time to change a simple small detail and make update and save of all drafting: this is because we have to make the update for all views, and they are 6 or 7 for each sheet, and then we cannot risk to loose uor job during the session, so we have to save it very often.
In case of these problems, which is your experience? how can we manage this critical point? I'm talking about ideas and methods to solve problems for big drafting, 'cause we've already reduced as much as possible dimension of model. The matter I suppose is dimension of draft.
Thank you for your support.
Bye
