Is there any way to find small gaps or overhangs in a draftsight drawing without have to zoom in and inspect each and every connection point?

Thanks!

I don't know of an easy way to find gaps and overlaps.

You can prevent them by never using 'near' as a running osnap, or its Draftsight equivalent.

I've had the same problem in AutoCAD, thanks to an experienced drafter who checked _every_ running osnap, and then gave up on associative dimensioning, because every dimension was off by .003", and he never figured out why.

Mike,
Thanks for your reply. I will do my best to make sure I snap every connection point or use a cut tool whenever I need to lines to intersect and not try to drop the end of one line on top of another.

BTW, you are just down the street from me. Small World. I am in Weston, FL

Thanks,
John

Don't give up on running osnaps; just use the ones that are normally 'safe', like 'end', 'mid', 'per', and I think a couple more that I forget now.

John, search for lisp programs. I had one years ago for Acad but I never got it to work in DWGeditor and didn't keep it when changing computers 6 or 7 years ago.
