Hello,

I am looking at the design of the drain of our water seal and have a question about it. Hopefully you can help me with this.
What is the function of the double (or quadruple) syphon? I am particularly interested in the syphon on the left. The one on the rigth is a vacuum breaker and present in all designs, but what about the other one? Is this also some kind of vacuum breaker which sents the gasses back to the water seal to prevent them to go to the atmosphere?
In the design and all other drawings in our archive, the height of the 2 breakers are equal, but in practice, it seems that the second breaker has a highest point just above the first one, what might be the reason for that?

Thank you for your input!

Kind regards,

Thijs
