In Pro/E 2001 how do you:

1) Create a construction circle in sketcher when intent manager is turned on?

2) Draw a circle on a drawing (2D geometry) that is a specific diameter?

Thanks,
Andy

Andy,
For the construction circle in sketcher:
1. draw a circle
2. pick the circle with the left mouse button (it should highlight red)
3. hit the right mouse button and select TOGGLE CONSTRUCTION

For the circle on a 2d drawing:

1. select SKETCH, CIRCLE
2. pick a point on the screen and begin the circle
3. while you are in drag mode with the circle, right click and select SPECIFY RADIUS

Good luck

JW

Construction Circles are useful for controlling geometry.

For instance I use them for creating polygons.
If you create a construction circle and then make 5 lines whose vertices are on the circle you can set equal length constraints and make a pentagon that's easy to modify and rotate if you dont have H or V constraints.

Give it a try!
