Hi all,
I have really stupid question (maybe)
I can not make dimension of the circle in the drawing. (created by extrude)
What I want to do is the dimension of diameter, which goes through the center of the circle.

What I managed is the dimension vertical or horizontal from tangent points of thi circle.
Other way is Radius dimension, but I do not know how to convert it to diameter.

Is there how to make a diameter dimension throw the center ?

thank you for every post

When you click on the edge to dimension it, left click twice, them middle click to place the dim.

Are you in a view that shows the hole straight on?

Sometimes I have a hole placed on a sloped surface but try to show its dimension in a view that is not parallel with the sloped surface. ProE doesn't like to do things like this for some reason.

Thank you !
I did not know, that I have to click the edge twice,
I did not find it in help.

Are this "useful" tips somewhere written ??

Help file for 2001 has it under Index/Dimensions/Diameter.

I can't seem to locate it on Wildfire's help. Maybe they thought everybody knew it by now. :(

Good luck,

In Revolved sections you can create a diameter dimension by Clicking the line or point you want to add a diameter for.
Picking the centerline and then picking the entity again and hit middle button to place your dimension. Or do the opposite and click the centerline, the object and then picking the centerline again before placing your dimension.
