Morning, all,

I'm trying to show different arrangements of an assembly - does anyone know of a way to overlay section views on top of each other? I can place a new base view on top of an existing (section) view and align them by changing the Placement Method to Overlay, but I can't see a way to do this when creating a section view.

Is what I am asking possible?

Thanks in advance,

J

You can with a little fooling around use the Edit - View - Align view align any kind of views. The views will not be associatively aligned but will stay aligned until you move one of them.
I guess the easiest method is if the views are non-aligned both x and y when you start.
Pick a stationary point ( any point of the model that should be coincident in the views.) Select the views. Click the Align horizontally. Repeat the steps but select the Align Vertically button.
