Hi all,
I am trying to sort out a drawing template. Ihave the basic grasp of how to create it and now I just want to see if I can iron out some details to make it more suitable.
When you set up the template and position views etc, I am showing the dimensions of the views. Two issues:
1) I don't always want all the dimensions showing in that view or I want certain dimensions to be attached to a different view instead. Can I dictate what dimensions get shown in the 'template'?
2) The position of the dimensions...They just pop on the screen anywhere to start with...Can I control the position of the shown dimensions to make the drawing more 'finished' when someone starts it?
Also...the drawing is the basis for creating drawings automatically from a family table, so not all features are always the same...so I guess if the feature isn't shown will the dimension just automatically not be shown? As opposed to throwing up an error?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Jon Reynolds
