Hello

One of our users has been trying to place a pictorial/ISO style view on a drawing but unlike the standards orthagonal projection views, this comes in looking very incomplete, I've tried all the usual suspects such as the settings for hidden lines and self hidden edges, smooth edges etc in view style, but to no avail. Any one any ideas please. see attached image.

Reference sets? Base view set to faceted or not? Tolerances?

OR

Start a new drawing based on a template that you know works, and then add his model per master model method and recreate the view. After doing that at least you should know whether the problem is with the drafting side or something to do with his model.

If you have threads, symbolic or otherwise, try messing with that setting. Also you may have to resort to render sets.

You neet to turn on silhouettes lines in the view style preferences under the general tab.

Running cad straight out of the box is OK but, a system tuned with application software is the best way to increase productivity.

Double-check model interferences - they usually generate missing display information

If there is more than one solid body in the view then chances are they are interferring with each other - maybe even by as little as a millionth of a unit.
