Drill bit drawings

Most major cutting tool manufacturers have pretty detailed drawings in their catalogs for identifying the exact drill to buy from them. Kennemetal, Guhring, Seco, Imco, etc. Some may have downloadable 3D models, as they are commonly used in CAM simulation.

Or you can check with custom tool grinders. They often have a drawing on their website with all the parameters [diameters, lengths] they request you supply them with - so they can make the tool.

How detailed are you wanting to make them? Are you going to model different tip geometry for relief and such? I only ask because a basic drill isn't a very complicated shape.
