Hi all,

I have an assembly in which i want to drill holes for some of components as an assembly feature. But this should not disturb the original part(of component). Can you please suggest the best way to do this?

Thanks in advance

create the holes as clinders then...
use insert-> combine->assembly cut

You could link the solids in the assembley and add the holes to the linked body. They will not appear in the components.

... or use promotions and add the holes.
