I'm a new union safety coordinator in a fairly large manufacturing facility without any OSHA training yet.
We have several enclosed break areas throughout the facility and we had to remove a drinking fountain from inside one of them because of a drainage problem.
A former safety committee member says that it is an OSHA requirement to have a drinking fountain in each enclosed break area and I can't find anything that addresses this issue in the OSHA general industry 1910 book.
Does anybody no of such requirements and where is it addresed in the OSHA manual?
Thanks,
safetygeorge
