Does anyone have a reference to purging the conductors of medium voltage cable? Usually involves dry nitrogen, desicants, etc. I have at least one reference at home but am not there at the moment.
I am googling and will continue. I have searched this group as well but must be using the wrong words because I thought there was a thread on it not to long ago.
Kerite and/or Rome had some info on it but there gone now.
If anyone knows of one thank you, I'll keep looking.

Thanks

What info are you looking for specifically?

The info I was looking for had the details of the set-up. Regualtor, connection to the cable via tubing and shrink tube. At the exit end there was a desicant in a bottle. The desicant turned blue when moisture was present. From the desicant the flow went to a flow indicator.
I can remember most of the details, I wanted to be sure of pressure settings and time after the desicant indicated there was no more moisture in the cable.
Thanks

You might contact Carlos Katz with CTL. He did some fundamental work on this 10+ years ago.

Katz is with Cable Technologies Lab in New Jersey.
