Dry Type Transformer

Ihave a dry type 3? distribution tranformer with the following specs:

45 KVA
HV: 208? V
LV: 220Y/127 V

How do you get 208V Delta? Is this just the three phases of 208Y/120 V brought in without the neutral? What would be the typical application of such a small voltage increase? Would this be considered an isolation transformer?

That is a 3 phase transformer.

The 208? V should be 208 Delta V

208 volts is usually derived from a 120/208 volt wye connection. For a three phase load a connection to the neutral is not needed.
The 220Y/120 V would be more friendly to motors than 208 volts.
This could be considered an isolation transformer.

Sounds like a transformer to feed 220V 3-Phase loads from a typical (US) 208/120V system.

I remember seeing 220V 3-phase motors and equipment in plants built in the 1940's, still operating 30 years later.
