Hi all
If I'm lucky perhaps someone can help me with multileaders in DraftSight Standard, 2023.
I've set up a basic template for myself, using annotative scaling, as per attached.dwg file.
Say I have a multileader:
Text area width is set so the text wraps at the desired note width.
Problem 1
As soon as I go back and edit the multileader's text, instead of seeing the text/note width that was already set up, the text area becomes *extremely* wide, perhaps twenty times the entire width of my drawing in model space, like this:
Zoomed out further:
If I click out of the text to accept my edit, without re-setting the desired width from scratch, the text area remains extremely wide, so it no longer wraps. So every time I edit the text of multileaders, I must re-set the width of the text area - lots of dragging and zooming required every time, just to get back to the width I already set previously.
Do I have a scale out by an order of magnitude somewhere??
Text settings as below, but best if you can look at the .dwg file attached, or via this OneDrive link.
Problem 2
When going to edit this text, I usually cannot double-click on the text to edit it. I have to type the edittext command. Why? Have I set something in the drawing file that causes this behaviour? I found a similar complaint on an AutoCAD forum, but it did not seem to help me with my similar-looking DS problem.
Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help. I have not had much luck with Google, ACAD-based resources etc. I am using the "Standard" subscription so I do not get tech support besides licencing.
