Hi, can anyone please help me with this question? Thanks in advance.
For a dual band antenna, why does a shunt inductor or serial capacitor shift impedance more in a lower band than in a higher band? Why does a serial inductor or shunt capacitor shift impedance more in a higher band than in a lower band? In theory one can use at most 4 components to match any dual band antenna i.e. two L-matching networks.

I am afraid that your question is meaningless in an isolated context. Eg, for an end fed wire a series inductor lowers the resonant freq and a series capacitor raises it.
