I have a line of text that I would like to add the larger dual dimension brackets to.
I am currently using the normal square brackets, but I would like them to match the larger square brackets used for the dual dimensions on the drawing.

Is it possible to add the larger dual dimension brackets to a line of text in a drawing note?

I guess I could change the size of the square bracket using "<Cx.x>" but I hope there is a better way. I am on NX6.

No, this has come up before and the larger square brackets are not being created using custom font elements, but rather on the fly by the actual dimensioning code. Your best bet might be to try and create a pair of left- and right-hand 'brackets' as User Defined Symbols (in NX 7.5 you will be able to do this with Custom Symbols) and insert them into your text string.
