Hello,

I was recently upgraded to a 64bit workstation running Windows x64 along with SW 2006 SP3.4 and SW 2006 x64. I have a Logitech Spacemouse that I have become very accustom to using.

The Spacemouse runs perfectly with SP3.4, but the 3Dcontrol add-in is not available in the 64bit version.

Is this a dual install issue or a 64bit issue?

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Nick

Most likely the problem is on Microsoft's side--meaning they don't have updated drivers built-in to the OS--or on Logitech's side, meaning they don't provide drivers for x64 yet.

Contact Logitech and see if they have a hack or patch.

Reason trumps all. And awe trumps reason.

I have the most recent driver from Logitech installed.

"This version of 3DxSoftware includes an x64 bit version of the 3Dconnexion Windows driver (3DxWare), an x64 version of the SOFTIMAGE|XSI plug-in and a new plug-in for UGS NX for SpacePilot. 32-bit or x86 versions are also included for the support of 32-bit applications running on x64 platform. There is no current support for MS applications on the x64 platform. For more information on support of your application on the x64 platform, please contact your software vendor. "

I also contacted my VAR. They said it is probably a bug but they can't report it until x64 is released. I guess I am out of luck.
