I'm stuck. What I'm trying to do doesn't seem that difficult logically, but I simply cannot get the software to make it happen - and I really don't want to have to manually edit a TON of dimensions.

It's a plate with holes. The holes are actually small round-ended slots. I want to do three things with these holes:
1) Pattern them, but have them get closer together along the length of the slot
1.A. I do not want them to merely vary linearly though. I really want either an equation (preferred), or some percentage of the previous one (n=n0*0.95; n2=n1*.95
2) I want the actual slot to also change size. i.e. get shorter.
3) I also want to increment this entire pattern a little to the X and a little to the Y and pattern this as well.

Any tips on how to make this work together?

For me personally, I would make a design table, bring in all the associated dimensions. Make an equation within the Design table (Excel) and use configurations to control the differences in the requirements you want to change. You are still going to be changing dimensions, but you can do it within the design table.

Hope that helps,

Do I understand correctly that you want something like this?
