Dear All

I just started using CATIA V5R17 to do Finite Element Analysis. Can anybody help me on the following:

1. How can I delete duplicate nodes in CATIA, like equivalence in MSC.Patran?

2. For buckling analyses, can I get the buckling factor for a member? I can now only have a single buckling factor for the whole structure.

Thank you for your help!

hi,

I do not think you can delete duplicate node. it is when you mesh that you 'merge node' to avoid duplication.
