Hey all , I m working in a food packaging industry , currently I m facing a issue in Thermoforming process , during punching process (make holes in product through punching mould for ventilation) in RPet sheet , we observed some plastic dust/fine particles of sheet collect on the product. Anyone have idea why it is happening and what's the solution of that .

I would guess the punches have too much clearance or are dull so they are tearing the plastic. It is possible that the properties of the rPET are not quite the same as virgin PET that the punches may work properly with.

Maybe a close-up photograph of the slots would clarify the situation. Someone with a tripod and a macro lens to make a picture that has less blur would also help diagnose.
