Hello
Would anyone be able to help me change an AutoCAD 2000 (dwg) file into a Kodak Imaging (tif) file. Everytime I change it, when I click on the file I get an error message "The Document's format is invalid or not supported"
Please somebody help me!!!

Jessica

Hi..

First you need Voloview Express (a free download from the Autodesk website) and Adobe Acrobat.
1. Open the cad file in Voloview and "print" it to Acrobat Distiller.
2. Open the .pdf file and then "saveas" .tif

If you have time (could have it back on Friday), and the drawing is relatively small when zipped <10MB, if you want to email it to me, I can convert it to PDF, then TIFF for you....

pdf995 is one of the greatest, inexpensive programs available. I have been using it for about 2 years now. I was not aware that you could do full E size drawings with the driver. That would be a great upgrade. You can also get AcroPlot to convert drawings to PDF. It is another excellent tool.
