DWG to PDF Conversion.....Layers

According to Adobe Acrobat, their new release (6.0) of Adobe Professional can convert DWG directly to PDF while maintaing the integrity of the layers. Actually, I've converted two files and they really look good as a PDF, however, when I click on the layers tab....I get nothing.

Has anyone used AAP 6.0 and managed to get the layer feature to work? If, so I would greatly appreciate any tips that might get me on track. Thanks in advance.

Apparently AAP 6.0 does not support the layering feature in the LT version of ACAD. You can still convert DWG to PDF, but only the full version of ACAD will work w/ the layering feature.....well this is what I was told by Adobe. I haven't actually observed a successful file conversion w/ layers.
