DXF to catia v5

I want to import an airfoil dxf into my catia project. the operation of importing to drawing ambient seem to go, but the use of poliline (the catia object traslation fo my airfoil) for 3d operation (loft, extrude, ecc.) is impossible. Where is the mistake?

Cosa vuoi dire? Does the .dxf profile not function as a sketch when you are lofting?

I import the .dxf into drafting, copy it, then paste it in sketcher. after this, it works for any sketch-based function.
