.dxf Units not making the Import? (NX5 and NX6)

Hi, has anyone has issues with NX5 or 6 not reading in .dxf files in the correct units? I have exported two .dxf files, one in millimeters and the other in inches. When importing BOTH of these to a new INCH part in NX6, I receive a scaling warning for both and therefore only the one that was exported in mm reads in correctly. When importing these same files into a new INCH part in NX2 I get the scaling notice for only the mm version and both .dxfs read in correctly and line-to-line. NX5 acts much the same as NX6 however it doesn't give any scaling warning for either.

I plan to submit a ticket for this... But, please reply if you know if some deeper settings I have incorrect or of any other possibilites. I think I tested it enough to send this, and to submit the ticket.

I believe you can set the default units to be used when importing via the external translators in the settings. Whatever you have now for NX5, change it and then see if you get better results.

I went to the external translator changed the settings to reflect that I wanted the file to be in inches, translated the file and the resultant .prt file was correct. I then changed the settings to read from the saved off .def from the external translator. And now I am able to read in the inches .dxf into an inch file correctly. The problem is that I now have to select whether or not the .dxf was created in inches or mm. NX2 will currently import a metric .dxf into an inch file or an inch .dxf into a metric file correctly without having to change any of the settings.

So, how do I setup my new NX6 defaults to behave the way my NX2 defaults did? (Note: I swapped the dxfdwg file that NX2 is using in for the NX6 version...it didn't change anything).
