I am working on a structure in a high seismic zone, and I was asked to do dynamic analysis so I used response spectrum analysis UBC97, my question is: do I consider the reactions as they are or do I have to scale it down by the R value.
For the design option I’ve noticed that there is an option to select the frame type and they mentioned that ductility is considered in the design but by comparing the results I found that it is the same values I was wondering if I miss anything!!!
