Anybody know how to save a dynamic block, that is in a drawing to be the <current drawing> so that I can insert it from the design centre as a dynamic block?
Please help I have been trying for 3 hours now and I don't want to start again as it is quite complex.
Thanks

How do you save the DB? One/dwg ore do you have a dwg with a plenty of DB?
Maybe you have a dynamic blick inside a normal block...?

I have sorted it. There is a check box in the "save as" block definition dialogue box that lets the block be saved as a drawing. Thanks alot

to save a DB out of a drawing, start the wblock command and then set the source block , then browse to the DB and select it , then change the destination directory.

Doing this will allow the DB to be inserted from design center.

You can also use design center to insert the DB without all this by just browsing to the dwg the DB is in and insert it from the blocks list.
