I'm designing a test rig for a 1m diameter Tesla Turbine. I'm currently choosing between a hydraulic dynamometer and an eddy current dynamometer. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? Is there a better dynamometer option for measuring the torque and power? And what are the essential components that are needed for each type of dynamometer? Thank you in advance!

Yes, but I would like to have a better insight into the advantages and disadvantages of this particular application. I kind of know what is the essential components for the dynamometers mentioned above, like water supply or electric supply. But I'm not sure if this is all the additional components I need for each dynamometer.
