E-field strenght inside a microwave oven

Hi,

Does anybody of you can tell me how to calculate the E-field inside a microwave oven (as a function of the amout of Watt it operates at)?

Or can you tell me what the average E-field is for an "x" kWatt microwave oven?

I don't understand the "problem". The web site listed gives an equation. You don't have to "solve" the equation all you need to do is substitute values.

My home microwave is 800 W and has a cavity 28 cm x 21 cm x 31 cm = 0.018m^3. I make that 44,444 W/m^3.

The other values are given on the web page other than the frequency, 2.45GHz. I got 300V/m roughly, for 50degC water load.

The field strength is going to increase tremendously for non-absorbing loads. According to the web page it can increase by a factor of up to 1000.
