I was just wondering what was the earliest version of SW and when did it come out? Was it 98?

Thanks

I think it was SW05.

SW95 back towards to end of the year I believe. The Company I worked for at the time bought SW95 in the very latter part of that year... I have been using ever since then.

Solidworks has come so far that most of today's users are not even aware of how basic it was then. Todays functionality is outrageous to then.

I'm super glad to SW make it this far, and I hope they continue to push the envelope of Midrange CAD design.

FYI - As far as I know the price has not changed over the years for the basic package of SW - IMO that is saying something.
