Hello everybody,

I have 132/6.6 kV 40 MVA YNd11 main transformer and 250 kVA ZNyn1 Auxilary Earthing transformer connected to main transformer at 6.6 kV side. I'm trying to calculate the earth fault current values but i calculate only 3 amps. But when i use a zigzag grounding instead of ZNyn1 transformer i calculate aprox.1500 A.
My questions:
1. Why i dont have earth fault current if i connect ZNyn1
2. What is the difference of both Zigzag grounding and ZNyn1 transformer.
3. I have to calculate earth fault value at 6.6 kV when ZNyn1 earthing transformer is connected to system. Can somebody help me?

Best regards,

Volkan KES?R
