earth strap material?

I'm trying to find out what grades of aluminium are used for earth (ground) straps for a turbogenrator stator. I've been asked to look at weld procedures for welding these together and although the weld procedures are fine, I need to be sure what typical grades are used in the UK, if anyone can help.
