I would like to find out the best way to use the coutersink hole funtion to go through two bodies. I tried to combine two bodies and then split them, but then I loose associativity. Is there any easy way of doing this. I am using nx 5. also its seems like UG has a lot of difficulty using multiple bodies.

You need to upgrade, because split is a associative command now a days. And it makes more easy. Unite the bodies first, make the hole and then split.

Even now NX doesnt allow the hole through multiple bodies.

In NX5, though a little bit long but definitely possible using the trim body command. First unite the bodies, make the hole, extract the body at time stamp. Then use trim body command on original as well as extracted body by flipping the direction on one.
