I am looking over someones design and they did an assembly in a single part file. They made some pins and I want to make sure that there is no overlap between the pins and the rest of the fixture. Is there something simple in the analysis tab to do this. I usually create a live section and look at it, but there has to be a better way. I also have nx5

Analysis>Simple interference>Resulting Object (pull down Inteference Body)

A simple interference check should do what you want. Go to Analysis -> Simple Interference... then pick the 2 bodies that you think may overlap. I suggest you use the "create interference solid" option; if there is any interference, a solid representing that interference will be created. The resulting solid can then be used for measurements or a quick fix.

thanks, exactly what I was looking for.
