LOL, Eaton used to brand-label Benshaw MV soft starters, then they started making their own and apparently failed at it, now they are brand-labeling the Motortronics MVC like so many others (GE, Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Toshiba).

Should work fine, but good luck with support on that in Singapore if it doesn't... Motortronics has, last I heard, a whopping 2-man tech service group. The brand-label agreements they sign with all these other companies are supposed to include having the partners doing their own field support, but their local field people are rarely trained and end up having to call out the Motortronics people anyway and [pay for them. They give them a shirt with their company logo on it when they arrive, but scheduling someone to fly from Florida to Singapore is not something that is going to happen over night. Good luck.

I have a pair of Motortronics 15 kV 15,000 HP units installed. They're in Florida a couple hours from the Motortronics factory. For my problem, I had the CEO and chief engineer there for investigation.

The units worked wonderfully. After fixing a small stupid issue that blew the doors off, the units work wonderfully again.
