Hi!
It would really help me if anyone could answar me if OSHA Corresponds to the European EC declaretation of conformity? In EU a Maschine has to be EC marked before it can be sold or used. Does the same rule aplly to the US regarding OSHA? Or is OSHA only for workplaces? The reason I ask is that our company sell processing equipment built inside a high cube container and are operated from the inside. Are we as manufacture recuired to "mark" the machine in accordance with OSHA or is it our costumer in US that a required to validate the workplace (our proccessing equipment) in accordance with OSHA. Thank you in advance!

OSHA is a performance oriented government agency in the US. They have several standards of how to do certain things but they never endorse specific equipment for use, to be in compliance.

The EC mark sounds similar to UL (Underwriters Laboratories) in the US. OSHA deals with workplace safety, not product safety.
