Edge, Face load.

I need to simulate a flexural test. In my model i defined a line load in the middle of the test part and 2 constrained lines at a small distance from the border.

In ansys Simulation i can load or constrain vertices, edges and faces. But i cannot create a new vertex in the middle of the face, or a new edge in the middle of the face, or a new face in the middle of the face. I am using the DesignModeler, but it just does not have the feature to do the job.

I have really tried a lot.

Could you please explain me how to do it? And could you point me to a good tutorial on Ansys 11.0?

I am sorry if i was not clear. I need to model a flexural strenght test. I have a tile with shape of a box of 0.40 m x 0.40 m x 0.01 m. In the middle of one of the surfaces of the tile i need to define a force in a line. How do i put a line, (in the DesignModeler), in the middle of a surface such that it appears in the Simulation application?
