Edgesurf: tighter resolution?

Is there a command in Acad14 similar to 'isolines' and 'facetres' that will help control the outcome
of an edgesurf command. I have (4) 2d-polylines that
I would like to generate a surface from. The resulting
surface made from these polylines do not follow their
forms as well as I would expect. It seems like they need
more 'control points' to give better resolution to the
constructed surface. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks................lookn4cloud9.

Have you tried adjusting the VIEWRES and FACETRES variables?

Thanks for the response. I have tried facetres, isolines,
changing viewres and trying to modify the polyline properties. Also, changing the mesh (M) and (N) values do
not help either. The mesh is tighter, but it still does not
take on the form of the defining polylines any closer.

OK, I figured out what I needed to change to get the outcome
I wanted. The 'surftab1' and 'surftab2' values need to be
set higher to get a tighter resolution before generating the
surface. Trying to modify the surface later does not help.
The surftab1 and surftab2 values need to be changed first.

Thank agains..........lookn4cloud9. 
