I have 29 orphan meshes that each represent a bone in the hand , wrist and forearm. I'm using the Edit Mesh Toolset to change the triangular shell meshes to solid tetrahedral ones. However, I'd like to resize the orphan meshes before I do the conversion. Reading through the ABAQUS user manual, it seems I cannot resize a 3D orhpan mesh. The resizing is to define cortical and cancellous bone layers.
Or is there a way to define different layers within a solid tetrahedral mesh after I've done the conversion?
