edit reusable component blank in assembly nx

Hello.

I have an assembly made out of numerous reuse parts. For some of those parts the "edit reusable component" dialogue window does not show any options. Its blank. How do I fix this?

Edit reusable components had an issue, when you move the component to another assembly level or copy paste between NX instances, the component lost the partfamilie association.
the only way I found to fix that was adding a new component and replacing the old.
