EDIT TEXT IN ENGRAVING IN NX6 3

Hi please any one help me on this,i can not edit text in NX 6
manufacturing once i created from insert-text-,it displays as note,where as in nx5 display as text(can edit).

Can you please provide some more details.
Are you dealing with the annotation text (note), or a text feature (curves from text)?
Exactly what command are you using to edit?

Hi Mark thanks,
I am in NX6 Manufacturing,
I want to engrave letters and nos, I just use from Insert-text- for engraving.e.g-part no-200 lot no -10,after engraving i want to change it to part no-200 lot no-11,if i double click the text for engraving ,i can not edit the nos.
this can be done in the NX5 but why not in NX6? is there is any option to turn on ?

@ugcadman,
I'll assume you are doing Insert -> Text when in Manufacturing mode. It creates a drafting note, that when you double click, you get the properties of the note but no way to edit the text.
Try this, switch to drafting mode, cancel the dialog to create a new sheet, then double click the note. You should then be able to change it.

Instead of double click, have you tried right mouse button / Edit ? As Anthony says, the default action is probably Properties.

As anthony pointed out you need to be in Drafting to edit the note.
