I created my custom tab in a drawing (2014).
Now, how do I edit it? In SW Help it indicates:

"To edit a tab template:
In Property Tab Builder, click Open and browse to the template to edit.
Add new elements or change attributes of existing elements.
Click the down arrow on Save and select one:
Save. Saves the template to the same name and location and overwrites the existing template.
Save As. Saves the template to a new name or location. The existing template remains intact."

I don't see this option anywhere.
Am I going blind or this hidden?

Thanks.

Not sure which option you're meaning ... the Open, Save or Save as ?

I see I can get to it thru the start menu.
But, within SW, if I have a tab in a drawing, there is no way to edit it within SW...only via the start menu.

In the Task Pane (RH panel) under SolidWorks Tools, there should be a link to the PTB.

Thanks CBL
I see the link to create the tab in the Task Pane, but once created there is no option to go back and edit it.
If you have it, can you show me a screen shot of where it is please?

I think you to use the start button "property tab builder" link. I don't think there is one that is built inside of SW for editing.

I'm not understanding the problem.

You can open the PTB, create the required templates for assys, drawings & parts and save them, but you then cannot access where they were saved?

I save my templates to a Custom Property Files folder via the File Locations option.

I have the location saved.
When I open a dwg that uses the Tab, it opens in the Task Pane as shown.
So, is there a way to edit the Tab here other than going thru the Windows start menu?
I don't see anything within the Task Pane for editing.

Ahh, now I understand. You are looking in the wrong place. See the first line below the SolidWorks Tools section.
