Editing a broken view created in NX 7.5 within NX 8.5. 2

Please could someone let me know what the process is to edit an 'old style' broken view created in NX 7.5 when using version 8.5.

To clarify what I would like to do is to move the position of the break lines...

Whilst the new broken view command is very much improved (no longer reling on a vodoo magic approach to create & edit it!! ...) it would still be good to be able to use and edit the legacy data.

To edit old broken views, you have to get the old command first:
1. tools/customize
2. click on Commands tab
3. expand Insert menu
4. click on View menu
5. on the left, you will now see the old command under the name Broken (Legacy)...
6. Place this command in your toolbar or/and in menu
Now, you will be able to edit old broken views with this command.
I also suggest to create a new Role (or edit the existing one), when you add this command to your toolbar. Otherwise it can happen, that you'll have to search for this command again and again.

Thank you very much for the response, I am having trouble locating the old command. Please see the attachment. I can't see anything called 'view' within the Insert menu.


I can see View as a menu that is what I copied to the attached PDF.

I am running NX with the 'Advanced - Full menus' Role.

Once I track down the command I guess I'll be good to go!

You need to go into Customize to find the specific legacy Broken View menu item which you will then need to place somewhere that you can find it when you need it.
