Hello all,
I am using NX since 13 years, and now, keeping short steps in NX PMI. ( current NX version 9 )
I wanted to know, can I edit the PMI Dimensions in drafting mode?
I am using master model concept, and the PMI dimensions are defined in the Part model, there is an assembly file, and a non master document for that assembly file which contains the drafting sheet, in which I have the views, created in that Part model with PMI dimensions.

Things I prefer to change is the tolerances, GD&T's, Datum symbol placement (Shift + move doesn't move unlike in native drafting) and added notes through PMI.
The reason I ask is, if there is any change in the drafting file which is not affecting the part file, then in the present case, I must also revise the part file, unlike doing it without PMI, I could have just revised the Drafting file only. Revising the part model has consequences of change of CAM program too, that is why I wanted to know whether I can Change few things in Drafting file using PMI dimensions and notes.
Creating the same dimensions again in the drafting sheet would be duplicating work. So please help.

Regards
Pradeep.

Should be possible yes.

In customer defaults you will find a setting "Allow PMI Bidirectional Edits" It is in Drafting - Drawing - Tab Workflow.

Never tested it before though.
