I like to edit my design tables in a seperate window. I'm unaware of a way to "pre-define" the boundaries of my design table when editing in a seperate window. By pre-difine, I mean to layout the borders that will end up in a Solidworks drawing when using 'Insert, design table'.
Is this even possible?

Thanks for any replies

Scott,
Maybe I wasn't clear enough on this, I'm already editing my design tables in a seperate window. What I'm looking for is a way to define the borders of that table, so when i insert it into a drawing, the "outer border" of the design table is what I want, not some random rectange, that includes many blank cells and rows and columns I don't want.

For example, make a part, create a design table, edit the design table in a seperate window (add columns, rows, etc...), insert the design table into a drawing.
you'll see the borders are incorrect.
