eDrawings - enable measure?

I can't seem to figure out how to "enable measure" in my eDrawings files. In eDrawings, there's a little tape measure with a bar over it (measure disabled) in the lower right corner.

How in the world do I enable measuring?

Can I leave it enabled by default? If so, how?

You have to have Edrawing pro before it's an option.

If you do have pro try doing a file save as and check mark Enable measure in the save as menu.
