I need to use the effective moment of inertia in bridge pile design for L-pile. I do not believe the program automatically does this. All I can find is the effective moment of inertia for beams.

The effective moment of inertia is a section property...doesn't matter if you're using it as a beam, a column, or a pile. Compute it based on the section dimensions and expected bending characteristics.

Which program version?
