I had a 24" by 8" grade beam installed in -2(c) weather. Mix was proper from the plant and it was placed quick and covered with insulated tarps.
the next day about 12 hours later the temperature dropped down to about -6(c) and the beam was uncovered for about 4 hours while the forms were stripped and then recovered and left for about 5 days.
what kind of effect if any would that have on the strength of the concrete?
