EG/Water mix (75% Ethylene glycol and 25% Water) 2

Thanks very much in advance for your assistance. Need to find a pump for application below.

Suction pressure= -2 psig (see note below).
Suction Temp= 175°F
Discharge Pressure= 1200 psig
Flow= 15 gpm
Fluid= EG/Water mix (75% Ethylene glycol and 25% Water).
Viscosity= 1.5 cP

Note: Pump takes Eg/Water mix from the glycol reboiler (atmospheric pressure) through a 50 microns filter upstream of pump.

I'm now using a gear pump but performance drops after 1 month so we are continuously replacing pumps.

A slow running triplex plunger pump is a good choice and not very expensive. I have seen a few in operation for Ethylene injection on gas fields. As Ethylene glycol is toxic you might also consider a triplex membrane/diaphragm pump as it is hermetically sealed. But that is the more expensive option.

Thanks. I'm trying to stay away from plunger pumps due to packing and leaks. I'll take a look into the triplex membrane/diaphragm pump as I have never used before.

We've used some multi-stage centrifugal glycol pumps in similar applications, and they have been less troublesome than most of the triplex pumps.

I can't remember for the life of me what name brand they were.
