I need to analyse a propped cantiliver concrete beam but cannot find any information regarding the calculation of the end moment and the span moment. Any help would be appreciated.

A easy way to analyze propped cantilevers by hand calculations is to superimpose the moments, shears, deflections and reactions of the unpropped cantilever under the applied loads and under the reaction load at the prop that produces a final deflection of zero at the prop.

Hope this would help.

Although it is a realtively straight forward calculation using simple statics to find moments and shear the evaluation of deflection at the end of an overhanging propped cantilever is not as straight forward. There are no simple formulae to give the deflections of a overhanging propped cantilever, you will need to either analyse it from first principles using moment area theory etc or an elastic frame analysis program.

If you are describing a true propped cantilever with no overhanging element the solution can be found using formulae easily found in most good structural text books.
