Hi all, Is running a 1" rigid elec. conduit in a 2" slab on steel decking allowed? This will leave 1" concrete cover only. Would that be a shrinkage crack problem? What code should I refer to? Thanks for your help

Not a good idea. One inch conduit has an O.D. of 1.315. This leaves only about 5/8 inch of cover. Plus ACI Section 6.3.5.1 doesn't allow an embedded item larger than one third the slab thickness.

its going too crack, why not run it below the pan
